Right now i'm reading Audrey Niffenegger's A Time Traveller's wife. Part of me feels a tad bit guilty for leaving mikee out in the cold a while back. After she had so affectionately posted that i had inspired her. Well, i'm just not out for talking right now. I'm very selfish. She's just doing that coz she has no one else to talk to right now. And talking to her might be a good idea. OK fine, so that means i'll talk to her, later.
I'm also reading Nick Hornby's A Long Way down and E.B. White's Charlotte's Web. Both of which are a tad bit boring so i stopped reading a while. But i will most definitely resume soon. So this is what i would call "trying to make the most of my time" this summer. Clearly, it's not much. Whilst i read this book or write this, i feel like i should be doing something more worthwhile, like bonding with my sisters, or my lone cousin from my mother's side, or maybe calling Trixie up. BUt i never get the nerve to. I just sit here, in front of my mom's new laptop, one i've used infinitely more times that she has :), and i just watch nicole kidman, or catherine zeta-jones, or john lloyd cruz on youtube or wherever. Yeah, i'm a lame-ass loser like that. I even turned down agie's invitation to play badminton with her because it's so darn warm here in this part of the planet, and i just don't want to sweat anymore. In general, i don't like getting sweaty or dirty after i've taken my shower for the day. That's why i do all the cleaning and the playing badminton before i take a shower. That usually means taking a shower in the afternoon, a very welcome retreat after a long and tiring day, but today i'm not able to do that because of reports that our water supply will be cut for a while for maintenance. So hence, i sit here, idle in front of my mom's computer. Trying to sound smart as i write about my mundane existence.
All i'm trying to say is, I'm supposed to be living. LIVING. Well, i will. I am.

This is an entry from my multiply blog that i transferred verbatim here. It's just really nice to read and look back at how i was, who i was just 2 years ago.
I didn't study yesterday coz after feedback, we went straight to MoA for movies and dinner with my family. Super fun :) I don't care what you guys think but I LIKED SPIDERMAN 3! I think it had the right blend of action and drama. Even if Tobey can't act, Kirsten can't dance and the transformation of sandman from sand to real person is stretching physics, it's still a good movie and worth my momma's money :) Really, i liked it. I guess coz the story's nice, and the pacing was just right. And probably because i've been emo all week thanks to Trixie, and the fact that yesterday was the last day of review class. Yah, you know i felt so sad yesterday afternoon. Because it's become so real to me, that the chances that 4-3 will ever be complete and together like that ever in the future is very small. And i'll miss everyone. I'm so thankful for the past 4 years. I never expected i'd like nursing so much, and i owe it to my classmates, specially my rle for making it the spectacular experience it's become. Yeah, i'm gonna miss all of us sitting together at class listening and or making fun of the teacher. I'm gonna miss having lunch at the carpark, or if there's no space at the pav with evil cat. I'm gonna miss all the adventures and misadventures we had, going to different places, different hospitals and health centers. I'm gonna miss all the weird and costly projects the epal subjects make us do, that are totally time-consuming but have bonded us closer to each other. I'm gonna miss hanging with sina ate jen, and ana, aww! ana! i'm super gonna miss her! sya may pakana nung pagdadrama ko! Sabi na naman nya kahapon as she was looking back at all of us noisy and crazy people sa med audi "ang sarap nyong panoorin," and you can read in her eyes and from the tone of her voice, how she's trying to immortalize the moment in her mind so she can play it again in her mind. Because she knows, and i know, we all know, once that moment passes, it will never happen again. And i'm gonna miss dexie and his drawings, and his songs, and his absent siezures, and franco and uly and their kakulitan, and i'm gonna miss rene and all her quirks, and deki, and kaye, and everyone!
i'm gonna miss working in the wards with my rlemates. I agree with pauline, it's hard to imagine going to the wards and not seeing sina steph and gege and char na nagsisigawan, over something so small, kakaiba lambingan ng rle2 :) and si ben, andun lang sa sulok, tahimik, and si polar, may mapupunit, or masisira or madudumihan (although i'll be seeing more of that) and si pb, natataranta, and si coco and si dara nauupset kasi may hindi sya naaral or natapos or nakalimutan, and si trixie kinukulit si pauline ng "Caan i siiiing?" or "mesasabihinako, uhmmmm.... ang ganda ko!" and malelate si minette because of this reason or that reason, and we'd all unite in getting annoyed at her. Haay, kakamiss. I don't know what the future holds, but i'm thankful, so thankful i've been blessed with a past as colorful, eventful, memorable, and happy like that. A past i can hold on to when the going gets rough.
I have been so blessed and i truly am thankful. I hope that one day, i can somehow, in my own small way, show my gratitude through my words and deeds.

Haaay! i haven't written in a really really really long time! well, not here anyway. Which is nice in a way. makes my entries more anonymous. Heheh :) A lot has happened. And not just the usual lot. Our house almost got burnt, and the boat i was riding in at BOhol almost capsized kind of lot. Yup, very unusual indeed. Unfortunately, summer's about to end and i haven't even been able to really catch up on pauline and trixie.And its more my fault than anything. I've had all these excuses, the maidlessness. but now we already have a maid and i'm stil not calling trixie up. Well, i should. I really want to keep our friendship. SHe and pauline are the bestest friends i've ever had and i really want us to stay that way. So i have to work at it. I've met a lot of good new friends, but old friends are the best to keep.

Super fun way to start the Sembreak!
Headed off for Enchanted Kingdom! Super thanks to Dennis for inviting us and giving us free tickets! And polar for giving us a free ride :) Yebah! My first time:) Hehehe :) So much fun! Polar, Dana, Jean, Dara, Ben and I rode ALL the rides. Well, almost all :) I just couldn't ride the flying fiesta :) hehe :) I got all paranoid after seeing the kid fall off from that ride in the news like a few months back. Heheh :) BUT! I did ride the Space Shuttle! Swear! that was just out of this world! I thought to myself before riding:"Eh, nakaya ko nga yung space mountain s disneyland, eto pa kaya!" But swear! This was different! Sa space mountain ksi, you have that assurance na since you're enclosed, even if you fall off, you're not going to fly off :) But this was open air! and you can see how high you are and how you're about to slam into the ground! i was so frickin scared i couldn't even scream! hahahah !:) I was holding on for dear life! Super steep nya! i thought i was going to fall off! Grabe, my knees felt like jelly after. Super adrenaline rush! Haha! :) I was so noisy after! Polar rode the space shuttle the last time he was at EK and he and Dara didn't ride with us that time :) Haha! When we got out i was teasing him: "DuwaG! Bading!" But deep down inside, i swore never to get on that ride ever agaiN! hahahah :)
Also rode Anchors Away. Bwisit yung ride nayun! Got super dizzy! And it took soooo long! i would rather ride Space Shuttle than ride that!. The backwards stroke was ok, the forward stoke was just ____! Super nakakalula na i just wanted it to end! Took me a while before i recovered from the dizzyness pero i was ok naman afterwards:) I pride myself in not throwing up :)) hehehe :) One guy before us threw up! hahah! :) eeewwww! Yun nga lang, i didn't eat as much coz i was scared i might throw up later:) Heheh :) And we rode the huge ferris wheel! Hahah :) may secret si polar na nabunyag namin! :)hahaha :) the view from the top was spectacular. sana i brought my camera :) Ganda :) you can see as far off as SLEX :) haha ;)
We tried everything, even the "perya" games where the rules are so strict and no one can win. Haha :) Dennis was able to win once though ;) even if super stingy nung EK guy, he got jean a small basketball stuffed toy :) I used up all my wizard money on the arcade :) hehehe :) Adik s basketball! :)) When we all played at the same time, I didn't get the lowest score! :) HAHAH ! second to the lowest lang :) hehehe ;) And polar and i tried the dance revo whatever ;))hahah! believe it or not, he beat me! :)) hahah! :)
Super saya talaga! We even went kart racing and paint ball! :) Kakatawa yung paintball, we were all so cautious at first that no one wanted to fire :)) hahah !:) then later on we were just firing at each other point blank! :)hahaha!:) I hit dennis on the shin and i think Jean or Dara hit me on the shoulder! Wawa si ben! he got hit on the face! :)) Hahahah! :)
Kart racing was fun rin ;) Hehehe :) Super bilis nina polar and dana! and jean! I was like so frickin slow. Hahah :) I was scared to fly off the track kasi, and it was so hard to steer plus the brakes were sticky. Hehe :) To think they were expecting me to drive faster kasi i drive fast on the road :) hehe :) Pero fun pa rin! :)
Super favorite rides were rio grande rapids and log jam! Hahahah! :) I think i rode log jam thrice! and we went on the rio grande twice! :)) hahaha! :) Never mind that i just got my hair rebonded the day before :) Polar bought me a shower cap para hindi mabasa! :) hahahah !:) Swear! Grabe! funny! We all got sooooooooo wet! The first time we rode rio grande, polar kept teasing me na i'll get all wet, tapos in the end, sha yung nabasa talaga! hahahah! As in soaked wet all the way! :)) hahah! The second time naman, i thought i was safe na, we were almost at the end of the ride, and i was so thankful i didn't get wet the entire ride, then biglang BOOM! Dara and i got hit by this HUGE wave! :) hahaha !:) Dara was soaked all the way! As in para syang naligo! hahah :) Ben always got wet! hahaha :) Si jean din! Lalo na! She kept getting wet wherever she sat, kahit s front or sa back! haha! And dana hardly got wet! Daya! :) Haay, fun times :) More pics next time when Dara uploads them :) Super thanks to dana for inviting us and for the pics :)

aww! i miss rle 2!!!!!!!!!
We met up last night at makati to celebrate our passing the boards! :) Yehey! RLE 2 100% passing rate! May topnotcher pa! Sosyal! it was so much fun! I miss them soooooooooo much! Lalo na si pauliine! Waaah! nagpagupit! Landi! Si ben naman, nagpahaba ng hair! Mashadong dinibdib ang pagiging bum! :) Haay :) But it was sooo much fun! I mean, in the month or so that we didn't see each other after the boards, so much has changed, but so much has also stayed the same. One fact remains, matatakaw talaga kami lahat! Hahhaha! Pero seryoso, the fact remains, we are rle 2, and we are a family :) Aww! i'm so thankful talaga na krle ko ang mga karle ko! I'm so lucky to be blessed with such good and beautiful people (pero shempre, ako pinakamaganda! -- Kokontra si trixie! naffeel ko na!) to have as friends :) the past 4 years of nursing would not have been so memorable and eventful had it not been for these people. Heck, if it weren't for them, i wouldn't survive! Haay, hard to think that we're now about to go our separate ways, each to find his or her own little niche in the world, but we will always, and forever be, RLE2 :) Naninibago nga ako, people are talking about finding work, and applying for SSS. Grabe! To think 4 years ago, we were nowhere near that, now look at us today, by the Grace of Our Lord, certified Registered Nurses. Heck, we were just there sa saisaki a few months ago, right after taking the boards, screaming expletives against that board exam, saying it was soooooo unbelievably hard and doubting each our ability to pass it. We even met a nurse from the states who couldn't help but overhear us, and assured us that we all passed. Now yesterday, we were there again, and her words have become reality. Grabe! haay, kakamiss! and sana, 5, 10 years from now, when we meeet again, kahit na, they're all successful nurses na, (oh, i'm sure of that!) and hopefully, polar, pb and i will hopefully already be successful doctors, sana we will still have that same closeness, that same bond that we used to have. Well, whatever happens, i will always be thankful for RLE 2 :) And i will always miss RLE 2, our kulitans and just being together. haay, nae-emo na naman ako! I heart rle2 :)

UST got a whopping 98% passing rate! Wooohooo! Yebah! (shempre kasali ako dun!) Hehehehe! :)

saturday again
was about to say my favorite day, but friday night is my favorite day. I have designated friday night as the only night of the week i will have a social life, apart from med life that is. So that's when i'll party and call my friends up and talk and NOT STUDY coz that's what i'll be doing from saturday morning til friday afternoon :) hooray for friday nights :) heheh :)
Actually, wasn't able to make the most out of that last night. I mean, was able to talk to trixie and pauline (yey!) pero short lang, coz we had to eat dinner. After dinner, ej beat me to the phone and when i tried to bully her into letting me use it, she went emo on me and started whining ang being bratty manipulative. hehe :) I fell asleep waiting for her to finish talking. hehe :) Ej's been having a difficult time lately so i'm cutting her some slack (believe it or not)
on last week:
grabe! i honestly i do not know how we survived last week. One of my classmates counted and it turns out we took more than 10 tests last week! Unbelievable! and not the wala lang quizzes (not that there are any wala lang quizzes in med), real tests talaga! I owe it all to Divine Intervention that we all survived sane (relatively :)) Haay, anatomy practicals pa nung friday afternoon! what a way to end the week diba! i won't even begin to describe the agony. Haay, basta bawi na lang next week :) we're really being trained to make important decisions, the right decision, in split seconds. PB and i were wishing that we could all just take a pill or install something in our heeads then poof! we know everything already and we can be really good doctors. But it doesn't work that way. To deserve that white coat, to deserve that MD after your name, to be called Doctor, to be in the position to be an instrument in saving lives, it takes time, effort, passion, all you've got. But it'll be worth it. So for me, one step at a time. Next week:

Hay! more behind than ever. Got frustrated over trying too hard to fix *&^&%^$^&*&%^&^%^ tp-link router! Kasi naman! The thing is supposed to be plug and play. well, it's plugged and lighting and NOT PLAYING! haay! Spent all morning (and many a wasted hour throughout the week) trying to fix it. I did everything na, i configured the pldt modem to router mode, up to the point of successfully pinging the tp-link router and even accessing the tp-link router homepage. Configuration problem na lang talaga, the *&&*^%&*&^&*&^*& thing just won't connect to the internet, exchange of data na lang tlaga ang kailangan. Haaay nako, i give up! I've wasted too much time on that 2000peso piece of junk and now I'm soooooooooo behind. Tsk tsk tsk! regrets always come in the end.
